Fergus and Raine went to the hospital together.
Martha was having breakfast. When she saw them enter, she immediately lost her appetite.
A trace of resentment flashed in Raine's eyes, but she smiled and asked, "Grandma, how are you feeling?"
"I'm fine," Martha replied indifferently.
"Is that so? Since you're doing well, I suppose there's no need to have the doctor come and perform surgery on you after all," Raine said with a smile.
She watched Martha closely, waiting for her to panic. After all, Martha would die if she didn't have the surgery. She wanted Martha to regret her actions at the banquet yesterday.
However, Martha showed no reaction, simply responding with a faint hum as if she couldn't care less.
Martha's personal maid mocked, "Ms. Lidell—Oh, that's not right. You've left the Lidell residence, so I'll call you by your name now. Raine, did you come here just to tell us that?"
