Chapter 7266

Lanny sighed and said coldly, "So, the Junior Commander of ours didn't show up here by accident. You’re here looking for trouble, aren't you? Did I cross you before this? Now that you know I'm alone, you're here to trample on me?" "On purpose? I'm sorry, but no. That's not really why I'm here," Beresford scoffed in disdain. "With your current status, you're completely beneath me now. There's really nothing much you deserve to do now other than to kneel, understand?" Lanny's eyes grew colder. She was about to attack when Harvey motioned for her to stop. Harvey took a step forward. He narrowed his eyes at Beresford and said with a smile, "Lost City's Knights Templars? So? Since when have you grown so bold and acted with such arrogance in our land?" Originally, Harvey wasn't planning to step in. He wanted to see how Lanny was going to handle this. But he couldn't stand Beresford's haughtiness anymore, and so he decided to get his hands dirty instead. "What now? Even some random man thinks he gets to play the knight now. Who do you think you are to talk to me like that?" Beresford looked at Harvey, amused. "What? Thinking of taking a swing at me?" Harvey smiled. "It would make me look like a coward if I don't fulfill your request and give you what you're asking for, right?" "Tch! Someone like you doesn't have the right to speak to me," Beresford said with an incredulous look on his face. "Micha, break his arms and legs, then toss him out. Don't let him ruin my mood." Beresford had no interest in wasting time on Harvey. To him, Harvey was just a nobody and was totally beneath him. His target was Lanny all along. What use could Harvey serve other than to be crushed and humiliated? Upon hearing that, the middle-aged man standing behind Beresford stepped forward. "Remember now, boy. The one who cripples you is named Micah," the man said calmly. There was arrogance in his tone. It didn't come from his words or his actions, but his presence alone was already full of such arrogance despite simply standing there. Harvey nodded. "A self-introduction? Of course. Then remember, my name is Harvey York." Micah raised an eyebrow. The name sounded familiar, as if he had heard it somewhere before. However, he couldn't recall it right away. "Harvey York?" Beresford sneered when he heard the name."Don't tell me you're from the Five Hidden Families, the Yorks of HL Casino? It doesn't matter at all. Whether you're from the Top Ten Families or the Five Hidden Families, these titles only work in Country H. They mean absolutely nothing to me. Now, Micah… End him!" As Beresford gave the order, Micah pulled out the rapier from its sheath and swung it down with icy resolve. Clang! Harvey calmly pulled out half a badge and tossed it to the ground. Micah froze in place, his whole body shuddering as he stopped his sword mid-swing with great effort. The recoil alone was enough to cause him to cough out a mouthful of blood. However, he ignored the pain, as his face was filled with utter shock.
