Summer vacation finally arrived.
I took a few days off from work so Hannah, Grandma, and I could spend part of the break in San Francisco.
Grandma had been wanting to meet Margareth for a while, and Margareth was just as eager. I had a feeling they would get along well — they were close in age, after all. Margareth had been a little older when she gave birth to Liam.

The moment they met, they hit it off.
Now they sat side by side on the living room sofa, hands clasped together as if they had known each other for years, talking endlessly about small things — the weather, groceries, old recipes, back pain.
