Princess Elena’s POV
The helicopter descended slowly, its blades slicing through the morning air. Below, the hospital sprawled like a city of glass and steel; vast, towering and intimidating. My breath caught. I had never seen anything like it.
The moment we landed, everything moved in a blur. Doors opened. Voices overlapped. Wheels rolled. Doctors and nurses surrounded me before my feet even touched the ground.
“She’s the neurology transfer from…”
“Vitals?”
“Careful, don’t rush her…”
“Miss, we’re taking you inside now.”
They eased me onto a gurney. Bright lights flashed overhead as I was wheeled down long corridors that smelled of antiseptic and urgency. Machines beeped softly beside me, steady but insistent, like reminders that time mattered.
