Chapter 2610
Fred shivered faintly. Suddenly, he opened his eyes and looked at Perseus in disbelief.
Wasn't Perseus supposed to be draining his energy? What was going on?
"I told you it'd be painful. But if you want to save your men, you'll have to endure it. After all, this is your fault for being such a lousy leader," Perseus barked, glaring at Fred.
Fortunately, Fred wasn't entirely clueless. In an instant, he twisted his face into a mask of agony.
"Is this energy extraction? So you just put your palm on a target?"
Lorenzo glanced at his own hand, wondering if such a skill could be learned. Curiosity gnawed at him, and he leaned closer to get a better look.
That was when Fred let out a blood-curdling scream. Wisps of white mist rose from his body, curling like dawn fog. Within moments, Perseus was shrouded in the haze, his figure barely visible.
