"Fantastic. I was afraid you'd chickened out!" Hogan let out a maniacal laugh. Instead of getting out of the way like any sane person would, he leaped skyward, launching himself straight at the blinding, sword-shaped lightning bolt. He summoned every ounce of energy within him, slammed his palms together, and met the tip of the lightning head-on. His power surged upward, colliding with the divine force. The two energies clashed with a thunderous crash. Hogan was thrown backward, coughing up blood as he plummeted. He landed hard on Galdros' back just as it raised its forelimbs above the sea, only to be slammed back down under the weight of the strike. The heavenly tribulation was meant to suppress it. Galdros let out a furious bellow, snapping its neck upward and roaring at the heavens in pure defiance. "Hold on, old friend! Just two more rounds, and we're through!" Hogan shouted hoarsely, staggering to his feet. He didn't even wipe the blood from his lips. His face twisted with
