He ran away?? But why?? What did he see that made him runa way from home??
He didn't say anything anymore. Rather, his eyes became teary and the veins in his forehead popped out like he was in great pain. Is he reliving that moment again??

"...I watched my mother draw her last breath with her mouth wide opened like she had been screaming and her brown eyes staring at nothing in particular."
