But now, she could no longer sense him. After the fleeting moment of loss, Elowen's eyes gradually darkened. Then, her figure vanished before Shannon's eyes. Shannon's heart clenched at the sight, but she didn't immediately follow. Instead, her gaze swept across the three dying Doomscourges sprawled before her. Ignoring the damage to her divine soul, she formed a mudra with one hand and manifested three tails. The three tails shot forward without hesitation and pierced through the chests of the beasts, nailing them to the ground. The beasts let out low, anguished cries, but the sounds were barely audible. Only when she was certain they could stir no further did the fox tails behind Shannon slowly dissipate. Yet, the tails impaling the beasts transformed into stone pillars and pinned them in place.
