Tristan looked at Cassandra and reached out to take her hand.
She pulled him up, and he used the momentum to climb in.
However, his weight made the basket jolt, and Cassandra lost her balance, almost falling backward.
Luckily, Tristan moved quickly and caught her, steadying her before she could fall.
Cassandra leaned into his chest, still a little shaken.
Tristan asked in a warm and deep voice, "Are you okay?"
She shook her head. "I-I'm fine. Are you scared?"
Tristan shook his head. "Not really."
The hot air balloon began to rise slowly. From up high, everything below—people and houses—started shrinking. Eventually, the balloon came to a stop when it reached its peak.
It was windy up there. The breeze blew Cassandra's hair all over the place.
She had just taken off her hair tie when Tristan gently took it from her and started pulling her hair back, carefully tying it behind her head.
Probably worried he might hurt her, he didn't tie it too tight.
Cassandra said with a smil
