After hanging up, Cassandra let out a deep sigh of relief.
As she walked out of the building, she saw Tristan's car already parked across the street. She hurried toward him.
Opening the car door, she said apologetically, "Have you been waiting long?"
Tristan looked up, noticing the tiredness in her eyes, and his lips curled slightly in concern. "I just got here. Are you alright?"
Cassandra got into the car, buckled her seatbelt, and turned toward him. "I'm fine. Thank you so much for today. But why do you have time to pick me up?"
Tristan started the car and replied softly, "Nothing is more important than you are."
When the incident occurred today, he wanted to rush to her side. Even though Cassandra seemed calm, he knew she must have been shaken deep down.
Cassandra felt warmth flood her heart. "Honestly, it was just someone deliberately causing trouble."
Tristan glanced at her and said firmly, "You belong to me. No one else is allowed to hurt you."
