The door to the study room was opened from inside. Immediately, Isabelle saw Cedar there. Cedar had a cold, indifferent, yet extremely handsome face. She tilted her head as she carefully examined his good looks. In that instant, Lucas came to her mind. Cedar’s looks were not inferior to Brother Lucas’s at all! “Big Brother, where’s my brother?” Cedar said in his low voice, “Something came up at the last minute. He left.” Isabelle gasped in surprise. “Why didn’t Brother tell me?!” Cedar cast a faint glance at her before walking past her and went to the living room downstairs. Meanwhile, Isabelle followed right behind Cedar as she thought of something on her mind. “Why is Brother so cruel?” Cedar suddenly stopped walking. Since Isabelle did not notice that he stopped, she just walked right onto his back. Cedar turned around and saw Isabelle rubbing her nose with a pitiful look. Her large and round eyes were so dewy. From Cedar’s perspective, all he saw was how cute and beautiful she was. “Isabelle, Ceri told me to look after you,” said Cedar. Isabelle sniffed a little as she heard that and said without thinking much, “No need for that. I don’t want to take up Big Brother’s time. I’ll go back to Wu City.” Cedar said, “Don’t worry about it.” “Forget it. I’ll go back to Wu City later,” Isabelle replied. Since she had already made up her mind to go back to Wu City, Cedar did not insist on her staying. Cedar turned around and walked downstairs. Meanwhile, Isabelle went back to her room. She went to pack her luggage again, although she had just unpacked her things last night. As she dragged her luggage downstairs, she suddenly recalled what Lucas said to her last night. Lucas said that her Big Brother was a lonely person. He left home at a very young age and fought for his career outside. He also reminded her to be more mindful of him. As she thought of that, she asked Cedar caringly, “Big Brother, are you busy?” Cedar noticed she took the initiative to ask him. He answered, “I’m still alright.” His low voice was the kind that was extremely deep and magnetic. His voice was melodious. He could easily charm others with his pleasant voice. “Big Brother, you can come back to Wu City if you aren’t busy. I’m sure Mom and Dad must have missed you. Sister Bambi misses you too. She spoke about you a few times, and she said you treated her very well back then.” When Cedar left home, Bambi was already at the age where she could remember things. Cedar left a deep impression on Bambi. That was why she would always go to the Schick family’s villa to visit him whenever he went back to Wu City. Bambi was much nicer and affectionate compared to Isabelle, who never really cared. Cedar replied with a faint tone, “Is that so?” Isabelle walked to the door. For some unknown reason, she instinctively felt like he was really lonely. She shook her head and stopped thinking about it. She then left Norway by plane and flew to somewhere nearby the Alps. She suddenly changed her mind while she was in the car and decided not to return to Wu City yet. The moment she boarded the flight, someone came to Cedar and reported it to him. “Mr. Yach, Miss Schick bought flight tickets to Switzerland.” The person who said she was going back to Wu City ended up heading to Switzerland. Cedar chuckled. “Heh. Lil liar.” He habitually played with the ring on his finger and said, “Book a ticket to Switzerland.” Cedar’s assistant said in surprise, “But Mr. Yach, you just booked the ticket to Denmark.” Cedar said unquestionably, “Follow my orders.” Cedar’s assistant did not dare to ask further and said, “Understood, Mr. Yach.” … When Isabelle arrived in the Alps, she went skiing alone. She got bored of it later on and found a free-to-join hiking group. Isabelle found it interesting since she had companions throughout the trip. Isabelle followed the group and hiked most of the mountains around them. However, she started to feel bored again on the fifth day. Cedar stayed in a hotel near the bottom of the mountains in the Alps. He was busy dealing with his endless work. Every two hours, his men would report to him about Isabelle’s latest update. He could finally feel at ease when he saw that she was safe and alright.
