Wendy kept her head down and said nothing. After Serena sued her, she couldn't find anyone willing to help pay her settlement. She didn't want to stay locked up any longer either. After thinking it over, she gave in and reached out to a few of her old flings. Most of them had only ever seen her as a plaything. Only Melvin seemed to still have some interest. He showed up on his own and even sent his assistant to bail her out earlier. She just didn't want Zach to know about any of this. Noticing her silence, Melvin tossed an invitation to her with a grin. "There's a high-society party tonight. You're pretty and know how to have fun. Who knows, maybe you'll land yourself a new sugar daddy. Just remember to put in a good word for me when the time comes. I'll leave first." With that, he turned and drove off. Wendy stood there awkwardly, gripping the invitation in her hand. She could vaguely make out something indecent in the background of the invite. Her first instinct was to throw
