Chapter 19 Elijah Is Different Tonight
Giselle's gaze abruptly turned cold. What did that mean? What did "also" imply?
Her eyes flicked over Anna's expression. There was no mistaking the hatred in Anna's eyes. It was so obvious that she wanted Giselle dead.
Giselle began wondering if Anna knew the truth about Trudy's death back then, but that said, she had to calm Anna down for now.
"He kept staring at me because I wouldn't tell him what illness you have. Since he hates me, he's pretending to be nice to me in front of you, just so you'll pick on me. In that case, I'll run to him and spill everything I know."
"Impossible!" Anna immediately snapped and clenched her fists tightly with strong disbelief written all over her face.
