Julian's footsteps came to an abrupt stop. He frowned slightly in displeasure. That single motion felt like an invisible slap, striking Mandy straight across the face.
The color drained from her face, and her legs went weak. She nearly couldn't stay on her feet.
Julian didn't even glance at her. He turned to his assistant behind him and said coldly, "Throw it away."
The assistant stepped forward without expression, snatched the suit bag from Mandy's stiff hands, and said, "Mr. Yarwood's clothes aren't for just anyone to touch."
It was obvious that the suit was now considered ruined because she had touched it. Without another word, the assistant turned and walked off, carrying the bag to dispose of it.
Mandy's knees nearly buckled, and she almost fell in front of everyone.
