Chapter 135 Julian's Staying Here Tonight
The butler hurried in. "Mrs. Ashford, the hospital just called. Mr. Ashford is fine. He has a cut on his forehead and possibly a mild concussion. They'll keep him for observation tonight, but he should be discharged tomorrow."
A wave of relief washed over Abigail.
Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Julian coming over and quickly called out to him.
"Mr. Yarwood, I have a favor to ask."
Julian came closer, his gaze deep and steady as it swept over Rosalie. She glanced at him, but the moment their eyes met, she turned away.
"Yes, Mrs. Ashford?" Julian asked, his voice calm as ever.
Abigail took Rosalie's hand and, to her surprise, placed it into Julian's palm.
"Thank you for accompanying her home today," she said, her eyes reddened. "Her dad and the others may not acknowledge you, but I do. You're my son-in-law."
"Mom!" Rosalie flushed and tried to pull back her hand.
"Let me finish." Abigail held on and turned to Julian.
