*CORA* After Tristan and his evil lover left,I felt more depressed than ever. He was like a thorn in my flesh. Zoe nudged me,cheerfully.”Let’s go to a karaoke bar?”She suggested. Alvin looked instantly excited at the sound of that as he smiled and nodded at me. “Are you interested?” I shook my head. “I have so much to do at the company.Let’s go some other time.” No one could understand how I felt right now.I had to go back to Tristan’s Villa. I still had to be his wife still he refused to severed all ties and keeps threatening me. Walking out of the restaurant and along the street,I felt a sense of suppression in my chest. I didn’t want to see anyone right now so I had gave Zoe and Alvin the excuse of going back to the company. I just wanted to be alone right now. Too many unacceptable things had happened in a short time. I had thought that I was eventually going to have my happily ever after with Tristan,only to find out that he was still with his ex on our wedding anniversary. As if that wasn’t enough,he got together with her.We got divorced and then I find out that my father’s company is somehow indebted to his and he could ruin my family’s business. This was so much to take in. The stress was crowded with people.Looking at the couple in front of me,I saw a man carefully handed an ice cream to his girlfriend,as if the woman would be ruined if she didn’t eat it. The woman was in a hurry to eat but the man stepped back again. The woman scolded the man,coquettishly and the man finally fed the ice cream to the woman’s mouth. It turned out to be the so called love of others,which had nothing to do with me. It was so wrong to ever get involved with Tristan.I was filled with regret. As night fell,the sky was enveloped with darkness. It was almost 11 in the evening when I came back to the villa. The light was on. As soon as I walked into the house,Tristan said in a cold voice. “I thought you’ve forgotten our agreement and have decided to sell yourself at a satisfactory price.You came home so late.Is the price not settled yet?” Tristan was sitting on the leather sofa in a comfortable posture,with a glass of wine in his hand. But she kept pushing against me causing me to hug her tightly. “Let go of me.” I should but her tantalizing scent found its way to my nose. “Our marriage was never real from the start.Why is it so hard for you to continue pretending now?”I asked. “You…” Her cellphone rang out,she pushed me away and brought it out of her bag. I stretched my neck and saw that it was Alvin. Furious,I dragged the phone from her. “Is it because of him?Is he the reason why you want to sever all ties with me?” “Give me my cellphone.” I picked up and warned,angrily. “Alvin,stop calling my woman!”I deliberately stressed the two words “my woman” but the bastard had the nerves to laugh. “Your woman?I do not know in details what is going on in your marriage but you’ve been around Phoebe recently,and over dinner tonight,everyone could clear see that you’re with Phoebe now.” “I owe you no explanation.” “Oh no.But you owe Cora a divorce I suppose because I’m sure she doesn’t want to be around an unfaithful punk like you.”
