"You hit me?" he growled. "I did. And I'll do it again if you try something like that," I said coldly, my hands trembling with anger. "Don't ever mistake my silence for weakness. I am not what you think. And I will not tolerate your filth." Our eyes locked for one long, tense second—mine blazing, his seething with humiliation. "You bitch!" Park spat. "You slept with Declan and Lucian, didn't you? They both dumped you, yet here you are, acting all righteous. What the hell are you holding your head up for?" His face twisted into something grotesque. "I'll strip that arrogance right off you." He lunged. Before I could react, he slammed me against the cold stone of the boundary wall. The force knocked the breath from my lungs. His hands yanked at my dress, tearing the sleeves as though they were paper, and his face descended toward mine, disgustingly eager. I thrashed against him, pushing, scratching, kicking—anything. But he was stronger. I could feel the last of my strength slipping away
