I stood firmly in the doorway, my expression cold and unyielding. "What do you want?" I snapped, irritation lacing my voice. "I need to talk," Declan stated. Behind me, Lucian's voice rang out. "Who is it?" I hesitated for a brief moment before stepping aside, allowing Declan to enter. As much as I despised the idea of speaking with him, I couldn't deny him the right to see Lucian.
