Alexander's tone was completely flat and cold. It was devoid of any extra emotion, making it chilling to hear.
"Mr. Sinclair..."
"Hello, Mr. Sinclair!"
The few men nervously greeted Alexander.
"You're all fired," he said in a voice that was both soft and cold.
The men's faces drained of color. Panic flashed in their eyes as they scrambled to plead, "Mr. Sinclair, we were wrong! We spoke out of turn. But still, these rumors didn't come from us!"
"We were just passing on what we heard from others!"
"Please forgive us, Mr. Sinclair! It really wasn't us..."
Alexander cast a cold glance over the group. At this moment, his gaze was like the scythe of the Grim Reaper—whoever it fell upon was as good as dead.
He let out a disdainful laugh. "Did I ask if these rumors originated from you all? I'm just telling you the outcome."
His gaze turned icy, as if filled with hostility.
