Suddenly, a dark cloud appeared in the sky, darker than the night itself, accompanied by a chorus of chirping. "Those are all bats!" Ryan's heart raced as he stared at the swarm. Sherry covered her face with her hands, her eyes wide with horror. "That's a lot of bats! There must be at least a hundred! They look so scary!" Ryan frowned. With that many bats, their corn would be completely gone. "I'm guessing only a few of them tried the corn at first. Now, they have brought all of their friends!" He was furious and scared at the same time, like an ant on a hot pan. "We need to figure out how to chase them away. Otherwise, our corn will be doomed!" Sherry timidly asked, "What can we do?" "Yeah. What can we do?" Although he was speaking to her, he was also asking himself the same question. He got on his feet and put on his shirt. Then, he started pacing around and mumbled, "What can we possibly do? Please show me a sign and tell me a solution!" Sherry felt slightly sad.
