Chapter 13 Another Trick

Rex walked in and nodded to Carter. "Mr. Wellington, I'm sorry we're late." Allison raised her head abruptly and saw Orville walk in from outside. She was stunned. Her pupils narrowed sharply, and she subconsciously looked at Ingrid. Ingrid had just picked up a piece of pork ribs when he heard Rex's voice. She couldn't help but pause, and the rib fell off... Looking at the rib that fell on the dining table, she murmured, "What a pity." Then, she put down her chopsticks, picked up the juice, and took a sip. Sheila glanced at Ingrid thoughtfully, wrapped the rib in a napkin, and threw it into the trash can beside her. No one noticed them except Allison. Everyone else's attention was on Orville. Although Ingrid seemed shocked, the dropped rib still exposed her heart. She must still love Orville! Allison suddenly became alert and looked at Ingrid even more viciously.
