Compared to Donovan's violent breakdown earlier, Tony's emotions seemed painfully restrained. His gaunt face remained expressionless, as if life itself had been drained out of him.

"Mrs. Kane," Renee said softly, stepping forward. Her tone carried just the right amount of sorrow as she addressed Dorothea. "I'll be leaving too. You'll have to handle Giselle's arrangements from here.
"Tony only just lost Sebastian not long ago, and he still hasn't recovered. He doesn't have the strength to face losing his daughter as well. Since Giselle was married into the Kane family, her funeral and burial should be decided by all of you. Tony and I won't interfere.
"Thank you for everything you've done. Please, remind Don to take care of himself and try to move on."
