As the bidding sum grew exponentially high, Sonia directed her attention to Lucius. "Aren't you going to restore your pride after being one-upped by Mr. Foster earlier, Mr. White?"
Lucius obviously saw through Sonia's little plan. Was she actually trying to use him to win against Darrell?
Yes, Lucius hated Darrell. But that didn't mean Lucius was going to be so stupidly manipulated by Sonia.
"If you're worried that you don't have the funds to pay for the aquamarine necklace, I can always loan the remaining sum to you with 10 percent interest. But you have to repay me the money in three days. Failure to comply will raise the interest rate to 20 percent," Lucius said.
