MAYA'S POV
I couldn’t stop smiling. The joy bubbling inside me was almost too much to contain. If only I could see Elora’s face right now—her well planned party crumbling, guests leaving one by one. Serves her right. How dare she talk to my mother like that? Threatening her? Humiliating her? My mother had told me everything that went down at the restaurant. To say I was pissed was an understatement. I had to go for a run to calm myself down. Well, now she knows what humiliation tastes like.
