ELORA'S POV
The feeling of warm water running down my skin should have felt soothing, but all it really did was remind me of him. Every tender ache between my thighs, every sharp pulse low in my belly, every mark along my neck and shoulder has Lucian written all over them. I pressed my forehead against the tiled wall and let the steam curl around me, trying to breathe past it, trying to wash him away. But how do you wash away something that lives inside you now?
By the time I stepped out, I was exhausted again. Not just physically—the soreness alone was a punishment—but mentally. I brushed my teeth lazily, staring at my reflection in the mirror, my lips were still red, skin still bruised and my hair still in messy waves no matter how many times I smoothed it back. I didn't look like myself anymore. I looked…ruined.
I put on a cotton dress, something soft and comfortable. I apply some make-up to cover the little marks on my body, and some gloss on my lips. Then I forced my way downstair
