ELORA'S POV I had the whole day off, and now, I had no one to spend it with. After leaving the stables from my ride with Nora. I should’ve gone straight to Maya's place, but she’d texted earlier, saying she's swamped with work. Lucas too had things to attend to so I didn't bother him. Which left me with nowhere to go. Going home to sit in that big, quiet space alone wasn’t an option. The silence there had a way of pressing on my chest. So I just drove around. At some point, I saw a small park by the roadside—a place I’d never really noticed before. Without thinking, I slowed down, drove in and parked. When I stepped out, I was met with the sound of laughter, the sight of couples leaning into each other, families sprawled out on picnic blankets, people holding hands as they strolled and took pictures.
