Derek finally remembered he was here under the pretense of visiting Daphne. He finally looked at her.
After years, Daphne was noticeably thinner, her complexion sickly pale. She sat in the wheelchair, looking up at him with pitiful eyes.
If this were before, Derek might have shown her some compassion for Randall's sake. But remembering all the suffering Tabitha went through, he felt no sympathy. He just asked coldly, "Long time no see. How have you been?"
