I continued following Victoria and I hid in the shadows when she stopped, shocked to see Sarah coming from the opposite direction.
We were in the middle of a large forest, everywhere was covered with large trees and it looked very dangerous but I was more concerned about finding out the truth.
There was barely any sunlight and I squinted my eyes, trying to see their figures because I was standing at a safe distance although I could hear them.
I realized that they connived to meet here and with a racing heart, I listened to their conversation.
“The Luna is dead! What did you do?” Victoria yelled, trembling with worry as she glanced around occasionally to see if no one had followed her.
“So? Isn’t that great news?” Sarah retorted and Victoria gasped.
“What the fuck are you talking about! We never talked about killing her. I told you I only wanted to knock her out temporarily so Alysia could take the blame then Damon would send her away! You fucking murdered her!” Victoria muttered
