Damon I looked around for Alysia and I couldn’t find her. I knew she had been across the room a moment ago but now she was nowhere to be found. I was filled with rage instantly, I began feeling restless as I wondered where she must’ve traipsed off too. I was about to search for Alysia when Charles saw me. He had a pleased, satisfied smile on his face as he walked up to me and his face was glowing. He grinned from ear to ear and you needed no one to tell you it was the glow of acceptance. He was filled with bliss. He looked like the most accomplished man in the world. “Why do you look so terrible? You have a forlorn look and you look like death itself. Is there a problem?” He asked and I swallowed the urge to growl at him. “No.” I replied gruffly and he stared at me with a frown, it was obvious he wasn’t convinced. “Are you sure? Remember you look like hell.” He pointed out and I growled. Today was his day of happiness, there was no use venting out my anger on him. He was my best friend
