(Scarlett's POV) "Don’t forget the files on the treatment center," Claire’s cheerful but rushed voice broke through the calm morning air. My hand hovered over my bag as I listened. "Files? What files?" I asked, brows furrowing. "The treatment center files. They're important. They’re saved on the computer in the study," Claire clarified, her voice carrying a hint of stress. "You’ll need them for the meeting tomorrow." I sighed, shoulders slumping slightly. I glanced at Roman, who already stood at the door, his icy blue eyes narrowing at me in silent disapproval.
