Liam glanced at his watch, raising an eyebrow. Allison had been in the bathroom for thirty minutes. What was taking her so long? He knocked on the bathroom door several times, each knock receiving a faint response from within. "Allison, are you alright in there?" he called out. When silence followed, concern flashed through him. Had she fainted? Liam raised his foot to kick the door when Allison's voice, embarrassed and strained, came through: "I'm fine! Don't kick it down!" Hearing the weakness in her voice, Liam pressed, "What's wrong?" More silence. His wolf stirred restlessly within him. "Tell me what's happening," he demanded, a hint of his Alpha authority slipping into his tone. "I got my period," Allison blurted out desperately, clearly afraid he might actually break down the door. Liam froze, his mind processing this unexpected situation. After a moment, he asked, "Don't you have any supplies?" Allison, mortified but past the point of dignity, replied with a flushed face, "No."
