Helen felt that women, on the other hand, needed to be raised with the best of everything. Joey was her little princess, so she had given Joey the best life and the best of everything.
Who would have thought that all this love would make Joey believe that Helen did not care for her at all?
"You said I disappointed you, but haven't you disappointed me too, Mom?"
Joey grew more agitated as she shouted, "In your heart, I'm not just worse than Daniel. I'm even worse than Willow! You'd rather help an outsider than take my side!"
"Why are you still so blind, Joey?"
Helen's voice was heavy with exhaustion. "I never favored Willow. I stand with her because she has a pure heart and a sense of justice. Unlike you, who only knows how to scheme and plot!
"Joey, you're my daughter, and I love you dearly. But when you cross the line and commit unforgivable acts, should I turn a blind eye and help you kill?"
Helen's words left Joey momentarily speechless, but she quickly found her voice
