Chapter 24

Clyde stepped forward when he heard Cecily mention "seven years", clearly agitated. "Cece, have you gotten your memories back?" Andrew shot a concerned glance at Cecily. He wasn't sure if the few months he'd spent with her could compare to the seven years she had spent with Clyde. Noticing Andrew's discomfort, Cecily took his hand and looked at Clyde. "I remember now. But Clyde, what makes you think I'd ever go back to you? Did you ever show me even a little kindness in all those seven years? "Even the only thing you used to help me get my memories back was something I gave you myself. Do you even have anything that holds the memories we shared?" Clyde had no response to Cecily's accusations. Cecily continued, "It's been seven years. You're tired of this, and so am I. There's someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. Just let me go."
