Melody kept her eyes lowered. "Everyone's worried about you." Due to her downcast eyes, she didn't see that his gaze had shifted to her. "Is there no other reason?" he asked. The question made Melody's heart skip a beat. She belatedly looked up. "What do you mean?" Jeremy studied her face for a moment, then looked away. "If I get better, are you planning to leave Jembina?" Her heart nearly leapt into her throat. There was something loaded behind those words, but Jeremy sai
