Jeremy said in a deep voice, "Denvin, you had better wipe your obscene thoughts away. I'll have you remember that Melody is your sister!" A shadow passed over Denvin's face, his initial carefree look slowly slipping away. Just as they were about to clash, the door to the ward suddenly swung open. Melody stood inside as she swept her eyes across both of them. She frowned slightly. Then, she saw the milkshake in Denvin's hand and paused momentarily. "You brought me a milkshake again. Thank you." Denvin's cold expression gradually faded. He passed the milkshake to her and said, "It's still your favorite flavor." "You're here. So, why didn't you come in?" Melody took the milkshake and turned around to step inside. Just then, Jeremy grabbed her wrist. He looked disheveled, but his eyes were as deep and unfathomable as ever. Melody lowered her gaze and looked at her wrist. Then, she yanked her hand away so hard that Jeremy's hand swung with it. But Melody didn't notice it at all.
