Melody couldn't get involved in the hospital's or Laura's affairs. So, she and Tiffany simply went to see Jason to persuade him to reconsider his decision and not rush into agreeing to return to Yellerton.
Jason earnestly looked at them and said, "I-I want to see the Louvre River." He spoke slowly—each word effortful—but he completed the sentence in the end. "My p-parents said... said my home is by the Louvre River, a-and that the n-night view there is... is beautiful."
Upon seeing how determined he was, Melody felt a growing sense of unease. She exchanged a glance with Tiffany, and the two of them tried to talk him out of it.
Eventually, Tiffany reminded him that the Green Moon Orphanage issue hadn't been resolved yet. If he left, Melody would be left to deal with it alone.
