Chapter 1801
Jonathan was covered in wounds, but his pride was still burning. He told himself Jack wouldn't really dare to do anything to him. Yet, he glanced around the pitch-black surroundings, and unease gnawed at his chest, leaving him slightly rattled.
No one answered Vera.
In the pitch-black factory, dozens of men kept watch, making it clear no outsiders would be allowed near them. There was a massive pit in the center of the factory floor. It looked like it had been prepared for a live burial.
Jack sat on a couch that had clearly been placed there beforehand. With a sharp and cold gaze, he stared at Vera. "Tell me. Where's Ollie?"
Vera trembled in fear. "I-I don't know."
Jonathan ground his teeth and barked, "Kill us if you dare! Once I get out, you'll pay for this." He was convinced that no matter how cold Jack was, he wouldn't dare to kill him.
